“User Data” means any data you submit to our platform for processing, including product catalogs, spreadsheets, and documents. “Service” means the Light Anchor platform and related services.
We are an early-stage company. This policy is intentionally concise. As our product and practices evolve, we will update this policy and notify you of material changes.

Account information. Name, email address, and organization details you provide when signing up or contacting us.
User Data. Data you submit to our platform for processing (e.g., product catalogs, spreadsheets, documents).
Usage data. Basic analytics such as pages visited, feature interactions, and performance metrics, collected automatically.
Communications. Information you provide when you email us, join our waitlist, or submit a form.
03. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymized usage data such as page views and performance metrics. Vercel Analytics is privacy-focused and does not use cookies for tracking.
We may use strictly necessary cookies to maintain session state and preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking technologies.
04. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Service
- Communicate with you about your account or our products
- Respond to your requests and support inquiries
- Generate aggregated, de-identified analytics to improve our platform
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your User Data to train general-purpose AI models unless you provide explicit, prior written consent.
05. Sharing & Sub-processors
We may share information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers. Trusted third parties that help us operate (e.g., hosting, analytics), bound by confidentiality obligations.
- AI sub-processors. Your User Data may be processed by third-party AI providers (e.g., large language model APIs) to deliver the Service. These providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for their own training or purposes. We evaluate sub-processors for privacy and security compliance before engagement.
- Legal requirements. When required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you request deletion of your account, we will delete or de-identify your data within ninety (90) days, unless retention is required by law.

We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
08. International Data Transfers
Light Anchor is based in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Service, you consent to such transfers. We take steps to ensure your data receives adequate protection in accordance with applicable law.

10. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
